Chelsea Supporters Club Jose V6

Thanks for the memories Jose!

A sad way to end. Time will tell whether the Club has acted rashly or has a plan in place.

A period of mourning, or should that be "Mourinhoing", is appropriate for the loss of the Special One, but we must move on because we shall never know whether he would have been able to recover our greatness.

We wish him well, but please not at any Premier League rival.

More turbulent times lie ahead for The Blues I suspect, and even if players respond to a new interim management, we shall wonder where that commitment was when Jose needed it.

A fresh start must surely see youngsters come through from our incredibly successful youth team and some very good players out on loan returning, with those who are past their best, or are unable to mentor young players, departing.

I would rather see us finish mid-table this season with decent cup runs as long as we have the prospect of 2 or 3 young players making the grade along with a far better performance in the transfer market than our dismal dealings of the past two years - not something that we can totally blame on Jose.

We do have the platform for a fresh start with a few of the best players in the world in our squad (Courtois, Hazard, Willian, Zooma at least), and the most successful youth team in Europe in the past 3 years.

We have the opportunity to build a team playing more attractively, perhaps without the seige mentality and less of the biased officiating that we have endured this season ... a bit of luck that Jose did not enjoy this season would be welcome too!

Chin-up and KTBFFH. C'mon You Blues!
